I'm flying to Mumbai early on Monday the 16th and it's the Wednesday the 11th right now. Hadn't even thought to look at visa requirements until a few hours ago. Whoops. A couple other bloggers I read about were able to get the visa in Istanbul by setting up some sort of interview. ( http://bensellon.blogspot.com/2007/12/hell-gets-hotter.html ) Your contention, though, is that it's simply not going to happen for me here in Istanbul? I appreciate you posting this.
