Engineers Without Borders: Chiang Mai, Thailand
My soon to be alma mater’s Engineers Without Borders chapter is planning to start a project in Chiang Mai, Thailand in March 2009. The region is in need of more reliable water supplies. The groups is currently finishing up a project in Cruce de Blanco, Dominican Republic in which they are building a new water supply system for the rural community.
The Chiang Mai project is co-sponsored by the Twinsburg Ohio Rotary and Chiang Mai Rotary Clubs.

Here is a basic map of the area. We will be working in one of the shaded provincial areas that eventually drain into the Salween river which starts in the Chinese Himalayas.
