December 2008: Turkey
I’m still in the planning stages, but here are some things I would like to do while in Turkey. After I narrow down what I want to do, I’ll decipher a reasonable route between them.
Neveshir, Turkey: Cappadocia
I’m looking into either an extended mountain biking trip through here, or another week long backpack trip. I’d love to hear about anyone who has done anything like this:

Adiyaman (Nemrut Dagi)
Mt. Nemrut is a 7000 ft tall mountain in the Southeast Region of the country. Around 60 BC King Antiochus built a tomb-sanctuary flanked by large statues of himself, lions, eagles and various Armenian, Greek and Persian gods on the mountain-top. My friend Ozcan told me it is a popular place to come and watch the sunrise.
